Step 2: Let’s visit
Things get going when I come to your home for an onsite consultation. During our first in-person meeting, you can walk me through your home to review your challenges, goals, and hopes. I will take notes, measurements, and pictures. I will provide some initial observations and ideas, while also allowing time to discuss your questions, budget, and expectations. I would love to see any inspiration photos or Pinterest boards you want to share.
Step 3: Let’s get legal
Once you are ready to engage in a project, I will follow up with a Letter of Agreement, which walks through the details of my design process. Together, we will discuss the scope of the project, the online tools I use, compensation, and fees. I value transparency and communication, and I endeavor to make the process of designing your home feel as peaceful as the end result.
From there, I will move into the creative process, while continuing to get a feel of what says home to you. Listening to my clients, collaborating with them, learning what they value, and establishing trust are all foundational aspects I bring to the design process.
